Bhubaneswar: On the day when “Naatu Naatu”, the fun number from Telugu movie ‘RRR’, brought Oscar glory for India with an Academy Award, the State Transport Authority (STA) Odisha Monday drew inspiration from the song to create awareness about drunk driving, using phone while driving and over-speeding.

In its social media account, the STA shared the ‘Naatu Naatu’ song’s hook step and title line by twisting it to “Say NoTo NoTo NoTo Drunk Driving, Say NoTo NoTo NoTo Mobile while Driving, Say NoTo NoTo NoTo Over-speeding”. Responsible Road Rides (RRRs) can take you to your destination safely, it said in the awareness message.

The transport authority also had earlier shared popular movie scenes and dialogues to spread message of several traffic rules. They had used posters and dialogues from movies such as ‘Pushpa’ and Odia movie ‘Daman’ for spreading road safety awareness.

Natoably, ‘Naatu Naatu’ from ‘RRR’, and documentary short film ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ made Oscar history for India Monday with one Academy Award each.
