Bhubaneswar: The Bureau Of Immigration (BOI) has issued a look out circular (LOC ) against three top-up-line members who are also among the main accused persons in the Solar Techno Alliance (STA) crypto ponzi scam.
EOW sources in Bhubaneswar said the three accused against whom the LOC issued are —Krishna Kumar from Hanumangarh, Anil Kumar from Sri Ganganagar, Bhoora Ram from Nagaur all in Rajasthan.
They are close associates of Gurtej Singh Sidhu and look after the financial and technical management of the scheme. They are also top earners and find place in the top hierarchy of the STA pyramid scam, added the source.
Earlier, LOC was issued against David Gez (32) a Hungarian national and head STA crypto ponzi scam, EOW of Odisha Crime Branch said here Sunday.

The lout circular was issued on request of EOW of Odisha Crime Branch which has already arrested three accused —India head of ‘STA crypto token’ — Gurtej Sigh Sidhu, (40) a native of Faridkot, Punjab, Nirod Das of Bhadrak, the Odisha head of STA and Ratnakar Pallai, an up-line member of STA having huge number of members below him, EOW added.
It is estimated that more than 10,000 people from Odisha have already been members of this scheme. This scheme/scam has more than 2 lakh members (Pan India) mainly in states like Punjab, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Haryana, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha and Assam. The total money involved in the scam (PAN India) is estimated to be more than Rs 1,000 crore, EOW said.
