Bhubaneswar: State government Saturday elevated four IPS officers to the rank of Additional Director General (ADG), said a notification issued by the General Administration & Public Grievance Department of the state government.
According to the notification, 1995 batch officers Radha Kishan Sharma, Saumendra Priyadarshi and Santosh Bala have been promoted to Additional DG rank. IPS officer of the same batch Ritu Arora, who is on central deputation, has also been promoted to Additional DG rank.
These apart, three other IPS officers: Narasingha Bhol, Amitendra Nath Sinha and S Praveen Kumar have been promoted to IG rank.
Besides, five IPS officers including Anirudh Kumar Singh, Anup Kumar Sahoo, Amrita Dash, Anoop Krishna, and Sudha Singh have been promoted to DIG rank.
