Bhubaneswar: The state government Monday declared that around 24 broad thematic sessions will be conducted during the five-day Make in Odisha Conclave-2018 to be held here from November 11 to 15.
The decision was taken at a high-level meeting held under the chairmanship of Industries Minister Ananta Das at the Secretariat here Monday.
According to official sources, thematic sessions covering various sectors like food processing, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME), aerospace and defence manufacturing, electronics and IT, women entrepreneurship, biotech, media and entertainment, smart city promotion, chemicals and petrochemicals, health care, skill development, tourism, textile and apparel and agri-business, among several others.
Reviewing the progress that has been made so far, Das directed the departments concerned to accord online approval to the respective delegates by November 9.
The conclave will have a 36-hour smart hackathon in skill development sector. The students will do hackathon innovations at CET, Bhubaneswar whose outcomes will be presented at a seminar in the conclave November 15. A central control room has been set up to address any issue and provide required information to the participants.
