Bhubaneswar: In a press meet Congress leader Manas Choudhry alleged that though the private schools are closed amid the COVID-19 crisis they are charging a hike in fee for the academic session 2020-21 which is unacceptable. For this Congress considers BJD government to be fully responsible.

“If there is no school, then why the private schools are charging fees of school bus, infrastructure development and day boarding”, questions Manas.
Manas in the press release demands:
I. The Private Schools should obey the guidelines of School Fee Fixation Committee.
II. Strong action against the private school who demand illegal hike in school fee.
III. No School, No fee action should be taken on unruly private school owners.
IV. 25 per cent seat reservation in private schools for the children belongs to Below Poverty Line
V. Strong action against private schools without NOC tag
