In a shocking incident, stones and onions were pelted at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar during an election rally in the Madhubani district. CM Nitish Kumar was addressing a rally at a public school in Harlakhi when the attack took place.
As the chief minister began speaking on unemployment, an unidentified man in the crowd started throwing stones and onions towards the stage.
While security personnel on the spot tried to stop him, the person kept screaming that alcohol is freely being sold in the state despite the prohibition. The attacker alleged that the Nitish Kumar government has failed to stop the illegal trade of alcohol in Bihar.
However, the chief minister was unhurt in the attack as his security cover surrounded him on the stage. Unfazed by the attack, Nitish Kumar told the person to keep throwing things. He said let the man throw as many things as he wants to.
This is not the first time CM Nitish Kumar has faced heckling from the audience at his rallies during the Bihar elections. Earlier, crowds at his poll rallies could be heard booing him and shouting slogans in support of the RJD, which led to the chief minister losing his cool at the audience.
