Mumbai: The most awaited film of the year ‘Saaho’ starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor has leaked online just hours after its release. It was leaked by the notorious piracy website Tamilrockers and is available on Torrent websites for pirated downloads.
Tamilrockers have leaked many films in the past including ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’, ‘Petta’, ‘Viswasam’, ‘Vanathaan Rajavathaan Varuven’, ‘Gully Boy’, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ and even the Akshay Kumar-Rajinikanth starrer ‘2.0’.
In February, members of the Film Federation of India (FFI) protested against piracy. The Madras High Court had also intervened in the matter. Despite action by law enforcement agencies, Tamilrockers continues to operate, leaking various movies.
Many Hindi film industry stars like Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mahesh Manjrekar, and Mandira Bedi are part of ‘Saaho’.
Directed by Sujeeth and produced by UV Creations and T-Series, ‘Saaho’ is Prabhas’ debut in Hindi cinema.
It is worth mentioning that ‘Saaho’ was initially scheduled to hit cinemas alongside John Abraham’s ‘Batla House’ and Akshay Kumar’s space drama ‘Mission Mangal’. However, the makers postponed the release, citing technical reasons. The spy thriller, produced by V Vamsi Krishna Reddy and T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar, hit theatres 30 August.
