Mumbai: The case of Sushant Singh Rajput is getting complicated by the day. Earlier Mumbai Police and Patna Police were investigating but now the case has been handed over to the CBI.
In Sushant’s case, it has been revealed that a day before his alleged suicide, a big Hindi film producer offered him a film.
A news channel has claimed to have received call details of the deceased actor. According to which producer Ramesh Taurani spoke to Sushant a day before his death and offered him a film.
However, Ramesh refused to give more details as the matter was with the CBI. Sushant had a conference call on the afternoon of June 13 with Ramesh Taurani, Nikhil Advani and his agent Uday Singh Gauri. This call was in connection with a film. The next day, June 14, Sushant was found dead at his home.
“I don’t want to comment on it,” said Ramesh when asked about his conversation with the late actor.
He then requested the interviewer to ‘let the CBI do their work’.
When asked if the actor sounded normal, Ramesh said ‘yes’. He added that it was just an ‘initial talk’ and the film was not finalised.
At the same time, Sushant’s agent Gauri said: “Nikhil Advani narrated the film. He called me after which I called Sushant. It was a conference call between four people.”
“He (Sushant) looked normal. I was on the phone but I was just listening to Nikhil’s narration. Nikhil, Taurani and Sushant were talking only. Sushant had asked many questions related to the film. Later, Sushant said that he liked the narration and that they should wait for the script,” Gauri added.
Sushant’s death will now be investigated by the CBI, after the Centre approved Bihar government’s recommendation to do so.
