New Delhi: Hong Kong-based TRANSSION Holdings’ subsidiary TECNO Mobile Wednesday launched CAMON i4, a smartphone with a triple rear camera set up, at a starting price of Rs 9,599.
The triple rear camera set-up of the device comprises of a 13MP primary rear camera with F1.8 apertures, an 8MP with 120 degree ultra-wide lens for capturing wide frames and a 2MP live focus lens that allows the camera to capture the subject and the background separately, the company said.
CAMON i4 also sports a 16MP AI selfie camera. It is the first smartphone from TECNO to feature a ‘dot notch’ screen with the front camera embedded at the top of the screen.
It is a dual SIM smartphone with dedicated microSD card slot which allows one to expand memory up to 256GB.
“In 2019, multiple cameras and Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities will become a must-have feature on every smartphone in the 7-15K segment,” said Arijeet Talapatra, CEO, TRANSSION India.
The phone is available in three variants – the 2GB + 32GB at Rs 9,599, the 3GB + 32GB variant at Rs 10,599 and the 4GB + 64GB at Rs 11,999.
