It is a known fact that actress Sara Ali Khan is besotted with actor Kartik Aaryan, and she had said so as much on chat show Koffee With Karan season 6 when she had made an appearance along with her father Saif Ali Khan. On the show, Sara had said that she wants to marry Ranbir Kapoor and date Kartik, and her comments had sparked off another story of will he, won’t he. That is if Kartik will ask Sara for a date.
Now rumours have surfaced that Kartik is dating Student of the Year 2 actress Ananya Panday, who as per online reports is starring alongside him and actress Bhumi Pednekar in movie Pati Patni Aur Woh. As per Pinkvilla, Sara, during an interview, was asked what she thought about the link-up.
“I find Kartik cute. It’s a Sara-Sara thing. So how does it matter if he finds some other person whose name starts and ends with A, cute? That’s good for him,” she was quoted as saying.
Well Kartik aside, Sara is currently riding high on the success of her latest movie Simmba, though according to her, acting was not her first career preference.
“When I finished the tenth grade, I was almost convinced that I wanted to do medicine. But the thing is that I have a mild tremor problem and I realised that I can’t do surgery. So, I decided to do law and I studied History and Political Science. But then in my last year, I did an acting course,” she said at a Leadership Lecture Series of Global Indian International School in Singapore.
She also went on to say that acting was her dream, but due to a certain combination, she decided to stick with her books.
“Acting has always been a dream, but then I got distracted. Firstly, I was really fat, and secondly, I was very nerdy, and the combination meant that I shouldn’t be acting. So I used to keep studying and there was a time when my mother used to confiscate my books because she would say it’s not normal to study so much,” she stated.
