Mumbai: Both Aryan Khan and Ananya Panday have been questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) over their WhatsApp chats discussing drugs. IF NCB sources are to be believed Ananya Panday is being investigated as a supplier who dealt in small quantities of drugs. The next time NCB officials interrogate Ananya, they will question her on the chats discussing drugs and the ways to procure them.
It has been revealed in a report by ‘India Today’ that Aryan frequently discussed drugs with friends on WhatsApp. One such conversation has also revealed that once Aryan jokingly threatened his friends by using the name of the NCB. After two rounds of questioning last week, Ananya has so far skipped the next round of meeting. However, the NCB officials are not ready to let Ananya off the hook so easily.

Also found in the WhatsApp chats is a conversation where Aryan talks about buying drugs in bulk from one Achit Kumar. Aryan had ordered drugs (weed) worth Rs 80,000 from Achit. As per sources, WhatsApp chats recovered from Aryan’s phone also shows him discussing drugs with three other celebrity kids apart from Ananya.
The first of the chat messages where Ananya and Aryan discussed drugs was way back in July 2019 as per the ‘India Today’ report. When Aryan brings up the topic ‘weed’, Ananya asserts that it is in demand. Aryan then tells Ananya that he will ‘take it (weed) from you in secret’. Ananya agrees and says ‘fine’.
What will certainly put Ananya in a soup is her ‘veiled’ statement that ‘she is in business’. NCB authorities are trying to ascertain what business she was in. In the same thread, Aryan asks Ananya whether she has got the weed, to which the actor replies, “I will get it.”
According to the NCB, prima facie it appears that Ananya was a small-quantity supplier for Aryan.
In another chat it has been found that Aryan was discussing ‘cocaine’ with friends. This latest chat took place April 18, 2021. In the chat Aryan is seen asking his friends ‘to get cocaine’ tomorrow.
The NCB is quite confident that with the help of these chats, it will be able to prove that Aryan was not just a consumer of drugs, but also was involved in the business of drugs.
