Kangana Ranaut and Hrithik Roshan
Arguably, the most recent example of hidden relationships in Bollywood is Kangana and Hrithik’s recently publicized relationship. The world had no idea that anything was going on between the them until Kanagana referred to Hrithik as her ‘silly ex’ in an interview. What ensued was a battle that shocked Bollywood beyond belief. Hrithik is of the view that it was a ‘one-sided” relationship when Kangana was in fact talking to an ‘impostor email id’. Kangana, on the other hand, refuted the claims and provided evidence to prove that they were dating.
Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra
Yet to be proven, but a certain section in tinsel town is of the view that Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra had a secret relationship not too long ago. In fact, at a certain point of time, rumour mills were abuzz about their alleged marriage. If rumours are something to be believed, SRK and PC got hitched in Toronto around their close friends.
Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan
Rekha and Amitabh, apparently, had an affair while filming a movie while Amitabh was already married to Jaya. Rumours have suggested that the two would meet in secret at a friend’s home in Mumbai, where Rekha would bring him food. They added fuel to the fire when Rekha walked in to Neetu and Rishi Kapoor’s wedding wearing a ‘mangalsutra’ and ‘sindoor’. They reportedly broke up as Amitabh could not leave his family for anyone.
Nargis and Raj Kapoor
Barely a few knew the confused relationship of Raj Kapoor and Nargis till much after it ended. Raj Kapoor was already married to Krishna Kapoor when he fell for Nargis. The two did about 16 films together and were the most sought-after onscreen pair in Bollywood. Soon after, their chemistry made way off screen as well. Nargis knew about Raj Kapoor’s philandering ways and when he refused to leave his wife for her, she found comfort in the lovelorn Sunil Dutt.
Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra
While rumours existed for a long time about Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra’s alleged affair, the two never came out in denial or acceptance of it.
Malaika Arora Khan and Arjun Kapoor
When rumours began emerging of Malaika Arora Khan’s alleged liaison with Arjun Kapoor, Bollywood was in disbelief. No one chose to believe that the Khan daughter-in-law would have an affair. Recently, Malaika and Arbaaz also announced their ‘break’ which added fuel to the fire! More so, Arjun allegedly keeps a safe distance from his previous mentor Salman Khan. At a recent event, Arjun slipped out before Salman Khan enetered to avoid any confrontation. That’s not all. Malaika was also missing at Arjun’s ex, Arpita Khan Sharma’s baby shower which sent the rumour mill on overdrive.
