Uttam Mohanty (actor): I know ‘Bijay bhaina’ from very early days. We had spent some quality time at Baripada and had done a lot of plays together. It was my pleasure to work with him and my whole family including my wife and son knew him personally. We lost a great treasure. I lost my big brother today.

Pinky Pradhan (actor): Nothing could be more shocking!! Bijay Uncle is no more. Grew up watching him. Learned many things every time met him. A complete actor. A thoughtful writer. An institution in himself.
Ganeshi Lal (Governor): He will be remembered forever for his peerless contribution to the cinema, dram and theatre world.
