New Delhi: India and Mumbai Indians (MI) all-rounder Hardik Pandya arrived Friday in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). However, three days into the desert nation, Hardik Pandya is missing his ‘two angels’. By two angles Hardik meant his partner Natasa Stankovic and their new-born son. Pandya posted on his Instagram account a screenshot of a video call with his family.

In the photo, a smiling Natasa is accompanied by her and Pandya’s son, who seems to be peacefully asleep. Hardik, sporting his usual gold chain, is seen all smiles. The cricketer has captioned the picture, “Missing my 2 angels.” He has also added, “Blessed to have you both in my life.”

Natasa also responded to the picture with an adorable comment. “We love you and miss you,” she wrote, with a hug emoji. The wait will be long as the tournament beginning September 19 will last for 53 days.

KL Rahul, a close friend of Hardik Pandya, was one of the first to respond to the picture. Rahul however, will be playing the tournament for Kings XI Punjab (KXIP). “Angel,” he wrote and also posted a heart emoji. Pandya’s sister-in-law Pankhuri Sharma and former India pacer Munaf Patel also reacted with heart emojis.

Pandya also tweeted the picture. There also he got response from another close friend and India teammate Dinesh Karthik. “Cayuteeeeeee,” Karthik wrote while retweeting Pandya’s image.

Natasa gave birth to their son on July 30. “We are blessed with our baby boy,” Pandya had captioned the picture he shared on Instagram then. It should be stated here that the couple announced their engagement on the first day of 2020.

Pandya has missed a fair chunk of cricket since the 2019 World Cup due to injuries. He has been working hard to gear up for the IPL and had been regularly posting pictures of his workout sessions. The IPL will see India’s top players in action for the first time since the tour of New Zealand in February.

The cash-rich league IPL which will start September 19 will see defending champions Mumbai Indians taking on Chennai Super Kings in the opener.
