The reason being around six sloth bears who have been visiting the village for the last couple of days, causing fear and apprehension among the villagers.

After sunset, the villagers are forced to stay inside for the fear of getting attacked by these bears. According to these terrified villagers, the bears are sneaking into the village in the evening and roaming around the village till dawn.

Some others allege that as in the case of elephants, the bears are also not getting enough food in jungles. They are coming to the village in search of food.
