Rayagada: Two tiffin bombs planted under two culverts on the main road near Dangarbank in Bissamcuttack block of Rayagada district were recovered by CRPF personnel during a combing operation, Friday.
The explosives were reportedly planted by Maoists of the Kashipur-Niyamgiri area committee to make their presence felt in the region. Around 40 CRPF personnel were on a combing operation in Bandeiguda forest area in Bissamcuttack when they discovered the tiffin bombs.
Security was tightened in the area and traffic movement restricted suspecting presence of land mines.
