Mumbai: The dates of Gandhi Jayanti 2019, as well as 2020, have been locked by Siddharth Anand for the release of his next two directorial ventures.
Two years ago, the announcement of the movie ‘Rambo’, featuring Tiger Shroff, was made at the Cannes Film Festival.
It is a Hindi remake of Sylvester Stallone’s classic of the same name and the first look of the film has been released. The film was to be released last year but the actor and the director were busy with other ventures, resulting in its postponement.
Now Siddharth has confirmed that the film will hit the floors in January next year. The director said, “After completing work of my current film with Tiger and Hrithik, I will begin preparations for Rambo from September.”
Siddharth added, “Tiger will start preparations from November-December and will start shooting from the New Year. Shooting will be held in India as well as in abroad. Even the search for the locations will start soon. We have already locked a release date, October 2, 2020.”

On work front, Tiger Shroff was most recently seen in Punit Malhotra’s ‘Student Of The Year 2’ alongside Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria. The film, produced by Dharma Productions’ head honcho Karan Johar, released last week and has received mixed reactions from fans.
