Bhubaneswar: The holidays are here, bringing Christmas cheer and everyone has a reason to celebrate! It’s time for jingle bells, reindeer, candy canes and merry mixing at the Little Harvard school, which is celebrating a three-day Christmas camp from December 21 to 23 at Satyanagar here.
What really set this unique celebration apart from others is that these little toddlers experienced a “cultured” Christmas with a church visit to sing carols. Kids even became Santa for the day and distributed warm blankets to the needy on a chilly December evening. A magical camp where little elves decorated Christmas trees, heard the story of nativity and explored the North Pole, Santa’s Workshop and a Winter Wonderland. Toddlers put up stockings and tree ornaments, and made immunity booster candy stick with berries, banana, grapes as well as edible ornaments for Christmas.
There are Christmas cheer and festive merriment each day with new activities each day for different age groups of children. Kids will make fragrance cupcake candles and learn the techniques of candle making. Other activities include Christmas chocolates and gingerbread making and the chance to create their very own Christmas environment friendly bags. Imbue your little tot with the festival sprit, this camp is sure to create classic childhood memories.
Speaking on the occasion one parent, Seema, said,”We must celebrate Christmas and let our children learn to celebrate it too as it inculcates the spirit of giving, care and sharing in us. So, Little Havard is just putting a step ahead with the kids to celebrate Christmas in a real way”.
