Cuttack, June 2: Bargarh, Kendrapara, Dhenkanal and Sambalpur registered convincing victories against their respective opponents on the second day of the Kalahandi Cup cricket tournament here, Saturday.
In the Ravenshaw University ground, Badal Pardeshi Nishad (6/46) and Rahul Choudhury (3/28) shared nine wickets between them as Bargarh defeated Boudh by seven wickets. Batting first, Boudh were bundled out for 130 runs in 25.3 overs. In reply Bargarh cruised to victory in just 19.5 overs losing three wickets in the process.
In another match played at the same ground, Sanjeeb Sahoo (6/14) wrecked havoc as Kendrapara routed Ganjam by seven wickets. Batting first, Ganjam were skittled out for a paltry 80 runs in 29 overs. In reply Kendrapara overhauled the target in just 16 overs losing three wickets in the process.
Elsewhere at the BOSE ground, Dhenkanal defeated Malkangiri by two wickets. Malkangiri were all out for 113 runs after being put into bat first. Bikash Rout (5/39) and Mustaq Beig (4/25) did most of the damage for Dhenkanal. In reply, Dhenkanal scrambled home in 23.1 overs losing eight wickets in process with Sujit Beura (44) top scoring.
At Bidansi ground, Sambalpur thrashed Deogarh by 127 runs. In reply to Sambalpur’s 213 runs, Deogarh were all out for 86 in 20.2 overs. Syed Zaki (45; 4/5), Debabrat Pradhan (4/31) played well for Sambalpur.

(At Nimpur ground): Paradeep 230 (Kishan Rout 79) beat Phulabani 157 (Nrusinghanath Pati 44; Kishan Rath 5/33) by 73 runs.
(At DRIEMS ground): Nuapada 231 (Rohit Patil 91; Ashis Rai 3/37) lost to Gajapati 233/6 (Jyoti Dalai 94) by four wickets.
(At SCB Medical College ground): Bhadrak 209 (Kshyama Bal 100; Bapuni Nayak 4/36) beat Nayagarh 92 (Purna Chandra Lenka 30; Kshyama Bal 6/24) by 117 runs.
(At Sunshine ground): Sonepur 319 (Ashish Mallick 75; Subham Rath 5/40) beat Koraput 209 (Amit Rout 32; Bhabatosh Patnaik 3/45) by 110 runs.
