Rupsa: In a tragic incident, a man and his four-year-old son died when a train ran over them while the former were crossing the railway line at Rupsa station in Balasore district Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Pataraju Pradhan (35) of Jhakhapura in Jajpur district and his son Purba. Pataraju had been living with his family at Hatapadia in Rupsa.
He was walking along the railway track along with his son, unaware of an approaching Satabdi Express. Both were knocked down.
Balasore Government Railway Police recovered the bodies while a case of unnatural death was registered at the local police station.
