Rourkela: Aiming to increase the efficiency of students pursuing studies in tribal languages, the Odisha government will publish five trilingual and bilingual dictionaries very soon.
The dictionary will be composed in 21 tribal languages by the end of August, an official source said.
The dictionaries will be distributed to the tribal schools and libraries in tribal districts after their publication by October this year following approval from special development councils of nine tribal districts, he said.
The decision came at a meeting chaired by ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Minister Ramesh Chandra Majhi at the Directorate of SC & ST Research and Training Institute.
