Two critical in wild boar attack

Bheden: Two persons sustained critical injuries in a wild boar attack at Badipali village under Bheden police limits in Bargarh district, Sunday.

The injured persons were identified as Sudam Bag, 65, of Keshripali village and Chamara Bag, 62, of Bardola village in the area. The incident occurred when the two were on their way to the house of Dolamani Bhoi in Badipali village to buy some bamboo trees.

They were near Harijanpada when a wild boar suddenly appeared on the scene and attacked them from rear. Chamara Bag fell down and sustained injuries on his body while Sudam suffered a fracture on his left leg and private parts.

Locals rescued the two and admitted them to Binka community health centre. Later, doctors shifted Sudam to VSS Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) at Burla after his health condition deteriorated.
