Baripada: Two youths from Mayurbhanj district died Saturday after being hit by a speeding car at a bus stand in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh.
The deceased have been identified as Lubina Marandi and Suru Marandi of Kasiabeda village under Joka panchayat.
Lubina and Suru, who were workers at a stone quarry, were standing near a roadside tea stall when the mishap took place.
A pal of gloom descended on the village when their bodies reached the village in an ambulance. Locals have demanded compensation for the bereaved families.
