Keonjhar: An undertrial, arrested Monday from Jharkhand on charges of stealing a vehicle, gave police the slip and fled from Joda police station in Keonjhar district Tuesday.
The escapee has been identified as Motu Majhi of Jharkhand.
According to sources, Motu was nabbed by cops late Monday night for allegedly stealing a truck. He was then put in jail. But, he manhandled the cops and slipped fled from the jail.
Following this, the police have launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
