Bhubaneswar: In a significant move to enhance emergency medical services in the City, Utkal Hospital, in collaboration with RED.Health introduced Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances. The flag-off ceremony took place at the hospital premises here Thursday and was attended by hospital COO Manav, CFO and unit head Arun Khillar, head of emergency department Abinash Mohanty. RED.Health founder and CEO Prabhdeep Singh and vice president of hospital business Prashant Agarwal also attended the ceremony. Speaking about the collaboration, Singh emphasised the importance of timely emergency care and said, “Every second counts in a crisis. Our collaboration with Utkal Hospital will create a critical safety net for Bhubaneswar, ensuring that no life is lost due to delayed emergency care.” Khillar noted that the partnership will enable faster, more efficient emergency response. “This collaboration enhances our ability to provide life-saving treatment when it’s needed most,” he said. Speaking at the event, COO Manav highlighted the impact of the collaboration on addressing the City’s healthcare challenges. “Integrating advanced ambulance services with our medical care, bridges the gap between emergencies and treatment, ensuring continuous and specialised care from the moment patients need it,” Manav said.
