Bhubaneswar: Minister for Odia Language, Literature, Culture and Tourism, Ashok Chandra Panda inaugurated the Utkal Rangamancha on the GKCM Odissi Research Centre premises here Saturday.
The 200-seater auditorium is fully air-conditioned with the state-of-the-art acoustic and lighting facilities. It is a super-specialty auditorium where one can avail multiple facilities like well-structured greenrooms, VIP lounge, guest rooms and an open air cafeteria. While the auditorium is much appreciated for its attractive ambiance, the beautiful stage tempts the artistes at once.
Moreover, the location of the auditorium as well as its qualitative accessories has already started attracted people from different fields for its location and qualitative accessories as this is the only auditorium of this kind in this locality.
The programme was attended among others by Bhubaneswar North MLA Priyadarshi Mishra, Department of Odia Language, Literature & Culture principal secretary Manoranjan Panigrahy, Department of Odia Language, Literature & Culture director-cum-additional secretary Bijay Kumar Nayak, GKCM ORC chief executive Sangita Gosain and Utkal University vice-chancellor Kamal Kant Mishra.
