Kendrapara: A video showing a police IIC taking bribe in Mahakalapada block of this district went viral on social media.
In the clip, IIC Trilochan Behera of Tantiapala Marine Police Station is seen taking bribe of Rs 1000 from Nirakar Rout of Radhiha village.
The video showed the official keeping the money inside his pocket.
It is suspected that a staff of the police station recorded the act with a mobile phone and later uploaded the video on social media.
