Vigilance raids OPEPA Chief Accounts Officer houses and office

Bhubaneswar: Vigilance sleuths conducted simultaneous raids Wednesday at the office and houses of Chief Accounts Officer of Odisha Primary Education Programme Authority (OPEPA) Nalini Prusty in Bhubaneswar on charges of amassing disproportionate assets.

The officers raided Prusty’s houses and office in Sailashri Vihar and Jaydev Vihar in Bhubaneswar, Puri, Chhatrapur and Kendrapara.

Odisha Primary Education Programme Authority (OPEPA) came in to existence as a registered society on January 30, 1996. OPEPA implements the flagship program of SSA in the entire state. There are about 65.29 lakhs children studying in about 65712 educational institutes.
