Want long holidays, become a father in these countries

Becoming a father is one of the most beautiful feelings in the world. Every ma would wish to spend more time with their newborns. But, men don’t get much time to spend owing to their responsibilities and jobs.

Many wish that they too stay at home and take good care of their new born like a mother, because the feeling of spending valuable time with the newly arrived youngest guest is different.

Therefore, in order to increase these happy moments, many countries give a lot of leave to the child’s father. Japan comes at the top number in this case. On becoming a father, there is a leave of 30 weeks and there is a provision of getting full salary. Despite this, only 5 percent of the men take leave here.

Korea comes second after Japan, with 17 weeks holiday here with full salary. But the situation here is somewhat similar to Japan. Like Japan, the number of vacationers here is very less.

Portugal comes third in this list. This is the same country which has a very close relationship with Goa in India. On becoming a father in Portugal, he is given a leave of 20 days without deducting his salary. Even after this, one can take leave here for 12.5 weeks with little or no salary.

Sweden comes at number four in this case. Sweden has also made a rule to give 90 days’ leave to men who become fathers in their country, while both parents together can take a total of 480 days off. However, salary is less during this period. But no deduction will be made from any kind of salary on 90 days leave.

Now let’s talk about the country which comes at number five in this list i.e. Estonia. In Estonia, two weeks’ leave can be taken after the child is born and even then there are many facilities provided without pay so that the child’s father does not have to face any problems.

If there is a question in your mind that which number comes in this list, then let us tell you. India comes at number 13 on this list. India has the right to take 15 days off from the year 2017. During this, full salary is paid. It is different that some private companies also give long leave from this.
