Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of IMD in Bhubaneswar in its weather alert July 1 issued a Yellow Warning for thunderstorms in several districts of Odisha.
Upto 8.30 AM of July 2: IMD predicted light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of north coastal Odisha, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and at one or two places over the remaining districts of the state.
From 8.30 AM of July 2 to 8.30 AM of July 3: As per the Yellow Warning (be updated), thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and Dhenkanal districts.
In the same time frame, light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of north coastal Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal and at one or two places over the remaining districts of the state.

In Bhubaneswar, for the next 24 hours, a partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershower is predicted by IMD. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 38 degree Celsius and 28 degree Celsius respectively.
In the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature of 37.7 degree Celsius was recorded at Chandbali while the lowest minimum temperature of 23.8 degree Celsius was recorded at Nabarangpur, the bulletin informed.
