Weather alert July 7: Heavy rains to soak these Odisha districts over next four days, says IMD

Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of IMD in Bhubaneswar in its weather alert July 7 issued a Yellow Warning for heavy rainfall in several districts of Odisha.

Upto 8.30 AM of July 8: As per the Yellow Warning (be updated), heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Angul, Sambalpur, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi and Nabarangapur districts.

In the same timeframe, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at most places over the districts of interior Odisha and at many places over the districts of coastal Odisha.

From 8.30 AM of July 8 to 8.30 AM of July 9: As per the Yellow Warning (be updated), heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Rayagada and Kandhamal districts.

In the same time frame, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of interior Odisha and at a few places over the districts of coastal Odisha.

In Bhubaneswar, for the next 24 hours, a generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershower is predicted by IMD. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 34 degree Celsius and 27 degree Celsius respectively.

In the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature of 35.4 degree Celsius was recorded at Talcher while the lowest minimum temperature of 21.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Nabarangpur, the weather alert of July 7 informed.
