Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of IMD in Bhubaneswar in its weather update of July 11 issued a Yellow Warning for heavy rainfall in several districts of Odisha.
Upto 8.30 AM of July 12: As per the Yellow Warning (be updated), heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam and Puri districts.
In the same timeframe, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of interior Odisha, south coastal Odisha and at a few places over the districts of north coastal Odisha.
From 8.30 AM of July 12 to 8.30 AM of July 13: As per the Yellow Warning (be updated), thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and Dhenkanal districts.
In the same time frame, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of south coastal Odisha, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur and at a few places over the remaining districts of the state.

In Bhubaneswar, for the next 24 hours, a generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershower is predicted by IMD. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 34 degree Celsius and 27 degree Celsius respectively.
In the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature of 37.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Boudh while the lowest minimum temperature of 22.4 degree Celsius was recorded at Nuapada, the bulletin informed.
