Wedding dress made out of toilet paper won this competition

There are various weird competitions organized in the world. Like in some places slapping competitions are a huge hit while in some places women race in high heels.

A similarly peculiar competition was also held in New York, where a wedding dress was to be made with toilet paper.

In this , a total of 1500 participants had entered. The final round of the competition took place September 30 and only 10 participants were selected. Mimoza Haska, a woman from South Carolina, won the competition.

In this competition, thread and glue were used along with toilet paper to make the wedding dresses. Mimoza used forty-eight rolls of Quilted Northern Plus for the creation and it took her more than 400 hours to sew. She received a grand prize of $10,000.

The second place winner was Donna Vincler of Brentwood, Tennessee and she received a check for $5,000 . Meanwhile, third place winner Susan Nicholson of Kennesaw, Georgia received $2,500.

There were many celebrities as judges in this competition. You will be surprised to know that it was also broadcast on US National TV.

Charm Weddings, a website of Inspiration and Advice for an Artful Wedding with Charm, launched the Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest years ago.
