Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar-based artist, L Eshwar Rao, has created a miniature replicas of the hockey World Cup trophy.
Eshwar has created the replicas on soapstone inside a bottle and on a pencil tip. It took him seven days to complete the miniature trophy on soapstone, and two days to do it on the pencil tip.
Eshwar has been practising the art form for the past 20 years. His unique works include stone crafts in bottle, soap carving, wood carving, coal carving, stone carving and tamarind seeds carving.
