Delhi is like live wire as life never stops here in one of the busiest cities in the world. It has witnessed many historical events starting from ancient times till now. The city is filled with a lot of secrets.
There exists a fort in Delhi where according to legend, if you enter at night chances are that you won’t come out of it alive.
The fort was once used to be the star of Feroz Shah Tughlaq’s eyes but now lies abandoned.
It is said that in the past cruel punishments were given to whoever rebelled against the king. And even today people believe that their spirits still exist there. Whoever goes to this fort at night, their body is found the next day under mysterious conditions.
It is also said that a stepwell exists inside this fort which is full of water, but the government has closed it. People believe that no one survives after drinking the water from this well.
To solve the mystery of this stepwell, when its water was sent for test, nothing came out of it that would kill a person.
According to legend, every night an evil power comes to this ruin and whoever sees this power either becomes blind or dies. The guards and caretakers of this ruin are not ready to believe that there is some kind of power here. At the same time people tremble with fear for stepping inside the ruins.
It was built in the 4th century by the Delhi Sultanate with materials like granite stones and lime mortar.
