Will work for development of Odisha, says Aparajita

BJP MP Aparajita Sarangi

Bhubaneswar: Aparajita Sarangi who has recently joined BJP after obtaining VRS from the civil services Thursday said she would join hands with other party workers for the development of the state.
After joining the saffron camp in New Delhi, she returned to the state capital Thursday and received a rousing welcome by the party workers. “Lord Jagannath’s chariot is not pulled by a single person. Hence, we should all join hands for the development of Odisha,” she told the media persons here.
“Till the end of my life, I’ll dedicate myself to development of Odisha and work unitedly with all part workers. I’ll work as a mere party worker with the motto of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikash,” she said.
Sarangi appealed to all the party workers to join hands to make Odisha the most developed state in the country.
The former IAS officer said she has forayed into this arena to do clean politics.
Stating there is huge difference between IAS and politics, Sarangi said, “Since politics offers a very large canvas and platform, I relinquished my 11-year more service career in a bid to work for the development of Odisha in association with the people.”
