Rourkela: A woman in Odisha’s Rourkela Saturday said that her husband has killed their five-year-old son.
The accused father has been identified as Raju Lakra from Sitalpada slum under Udit Nagar police limits in Rourkela. The name of the deceased minor is Aryan Lakra. According to a source, the body of the deceased minor was seen hanging on a tree this morning.
Mother of the deceased Gunu Lakra said that she suspected her husband to have killed their child.
“I had left home leaving my son at anganwadi centre. My husband has killed my son. He always used to fight with me. When he killed my son, I was not at home,” she alleged.
Gunu further informed that her husband always has doubts on her for having an extramarital affair.
A local resident said that the couple used to have quarrels quite often. Besides, accused Raju was under stress as he had taken some loans.
Police have detained Raju for questioning.
