Bhubaneswar: To meet growing industry needs, World Skill Center (WSC) has launched a new programme in Precision Engineering under its School of Engineering here recently. “Precision engineering is a cutting-edge subject which has attractive employment opportunities at national and international markets for professionals. Keeping this in mind, this new course is being implemented at the WSC. State-of-the-art labs are being set up for this course,” said Rashmita Panda, CEO of Odisha Skill Development Authority and WSC. “The unique one-year programme requires one to have completed either a 2-year ITI or 3-year diploma from any polytechnic institute of the state,” she said.
