Youngsters enjoy intuitive events at annual fest Chiasma

BHUBANESWAR: A dumb charades session was organised at Chiasma, the annual fest of AIIMS, Bhubaneswar, by their literary committee Farrago here Tuesday.

Member of the organizing committee Balram said, “This is a unique way of having fun. All of us love the traditional game of guessing the names of movies. The rules to this game are universal. Youngsters and even elderly people should play the game as it is a great stress buster.”

The rules for the Dumb Charades game were quite detailed. The event was conducted among teams of 3. There will be four rounds. The team-member has to pick up a chit and enact the movie, book and song written on it.

The participant has to enact a Bollywood or Hollywood movie. Participants can showcase their drawing skills to explain what is written on the chit. He has to then enact successfully as many movies as possible in a limited period of time.

Pre-defined gestures for common terms e.g. old/new, Bollywood/Hollywood, etc will be informed to the participants on the spot. No gestures / actions with predefined meanings known only to the teammates was allowed at the event.
