Balasore: A youth was critically injured after some miscreants attacked him with a knife at Balu Bazaar Thursday.
Sk Sarfaraz, who was first admitted at Balasore district hospital, has later been shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital.
The miscreants attacked Sarfaraz while he was taking part in a cultural procession.
According to sources, past enmity was the reason for the attack.
When the procession reached Balu Bazaar, the miscreants thrashed Sarfaraz and attacked him with a knife.
The police have started an investigation.
