Rayagada: A 19-year-old boy died of dengue fever while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh Wednesday evening.
The deceased has been identified as M Ravi Kumar, son of M Tirupati Rao from Sulava village of this district in Odisha.
He was staying at the Railway colony here to pursue his studies.
According to reports, Ravi was first admitted to the District hospital here July 8 after he complained of severe headache and fever. However, July 10 his family members shifted him to a private hospital in Vishakhapatnam after he was diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease.
He succumbed to the deadly disease while undergoing treatment.
