Youth held for stealing ‘Mo Cycle’

Bhubaneswar: A youth Friday faced arrest for stealing one of the bicycles under ‘Mo Cycle’, the free cycle services, in Nayapalli area here. The accused identified as Chandan Kumar Sethi, 19, is a resident of Salia Sahi under Nayapalli Police station limits here.

According to sources, the Chief Executive Officer of Mo Cycle services lodged a complaint with the Nayapalli police about the stealing of one of the cycles kept near the Biju Patnaik College near Jayadev Vihar square Thursday night. The cops tracked the cycle by following the signals from the GPS installed on the bicycles at the residence of the accused at Salia Sahi.

Police arrested the accused Sethi after registering a case (173/19) based on the complaint. He was sent to judicial custody after being produced before the court Friday.

Notably, news often comes to light about the missing of various parts of the bicycles used under MO Cycle services in the city.
