Dabugaon: The body of a young man was recovered along a road near the Mission Shakti office functioning on the Panchayat office premises of this block in Nabarangpur district, Sunday. The deceased was identified as Bishnu Harijan,28, son of Krushna Harijan of Jayanti Nagar village of Dangariguda panchyat of this block. According to family sources, Bishnu left his home Saturday night but didn’t return.
In the morning, some villagers identified the body and informed them. Later, based on a complaint lodged by Bishnu’s mother Jamuna Harijan, police registered a case and started a probe with the help of a forensic team and sniffer dogs, IIC Sunil Kumar Pradhan said. Sub-Inspector Chandan Sahoo and ASI Sishirkanta Ghosh were also part of the police team, it was learnt.
