Yummy! Scientists develop ice cream you can eat for three hours without melting

Want to enjoy your ice cream for hours without getting melted? We all wish to enjoy our ice cream for hours but unfortunately, it gets melted away soon. Looks like God just heard our prayers.

Japan has invented an organic way to make ice-cream that does not melt for several hours even if you are standing under the sun. Scientists in Japan have invented a cool solution to stop ice cream from melting before you have had time to finish it.

Icecream starts melting just the moments after it is scooped from a container and put into a bowl or on a cone. And because of this people have to eat it quickly before it gets melted. Researchers from Kanazawa University in Japan claim to have found a unique way to maintain the shape of ice cream and to maintain its melting point.

They prepared this by injecting the ice cream with polyphenol liquid extracted from strawberries. ‘Polyphenol liquid has properties to make it difficult for water and oil to separate, ’Tomihisa Ota, a professor at Kanazawa University, was quoted as saying.

The ice cream having the polyphenol liquid will be able to retain the original shape for longer than usual time and be hard to melt. The ice cream can last three hours at room temperature with hardly any melting.

Many researchers tested the ice cream in various processes like by using hair dryer blowing hot air on it for more than five minutes but it still retained its shape. The ice cream comes in various flavors including Chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. Delicious isn’t it?
